Underground mining

When the deposit is buried deep below the surface, the stripping coefficient will be too high when the open-pit mining is adopted. Because the ore body is buried deeply, in order to extract the ore, it is necessary to dig the roadway leading to the ore body from the surface, such as vertical shaft, inclined shaft, slope road, drift and so on. The key point of underground mine capital construction is to dig these well and lane projects. Underground mining mainly includes opening up, cutting (prospecting and cutting work) and mining.

Natural support mining method.

Natural support mining method. When returning to the mining room, the mined-out area formed is supported by pillars. Therefore, the basic condition for the use of this type of mining method is that the ore and surrounding rock should be stable.

Manual support mining method.

In the mining area, with the advance of the mining face, the artificial support method is used to maintain the mined-out area and form the working site.

Caving method.

It is a method to control and manage ground pressure by filling goaf with caving rock. Surface caving is a necessary prerequisite for the use of this type of mining method because the caving of the upper and lower wall rocks will cause surface caving.

Underground mining, whether it is exploitation, mining or mining, generally need to go through drilling, blasting, ventilation, loading, support and transportation and other processes.
